POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
At Stem & Petal, we are committed to delivering exceptional floral designs and a seamless experience from start to finish. To ensure clarity and consistency, please review the following policies and procedures. Please note that rendering our services means that you agree to the procedures and policies below. Booking and Payment
Event Florals
A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer (typically 10%-50% of your total) are required to secure your event date. Final payment is due no later than 28 days prior to your event date.
Everyday Arrangements:
Full payment is due at the time of order. Orders must be places at least 24-48 hours in advance for custom designs.
Floral Substitutions
We work with fresh, seasonal blooms and sometimes substitutions may be necessary due to flower availability. Rest assured, any replacements will maintain the integrity and aesthetic of the original design.
Rental Items
Any rented items (vases, stands, arches, etc.) must be returned within the agreed timeframe. Damaged or missing items will incur replacement fees.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Event Florals
If for any reason Client cancels this Agreement more than thirty (30) days before the Event, Florist will keep the non-refundable Retainer and any pro-rated hours, but Client will not be responsible for any remainder due. Notification of cancellation must be made in writing by Client and sent via email, pursuant to the Notice provision. Confirmation of receipt of notification email must be obtained by Client from Florist. If Client fails to supply Notice of cancellation as specified before the Event or cancels within thirty (30) days of the Event, Client shall be required to pay the full balance due.
Everyday Arrangements
Orders canceled within 24 hours of scheduled delivery/pickup are non-refundable due to the perishable nature of florals and custom sourcing. Rescheduling will need to be done within 48 hours. This does not guarantee that rescheduling will be possible.
Delivery & Setup
We offer delivery for both events and everyday arrangements. Fees are based on location and complexity. For events, setup and breakdown services are included in your custom quote.
Design Style
By booking with us, you trust our creative direction and signature style. We welcome inspiration photos but do not replicate exact designs. Each arrangement is one-of-a-kind and made with care.
